Successful Web Projects

Successful Web Build Project Management

Overview

Since 2001 I have been helping clients to deliver successful web projects. These can be businesses or organisations who are planning new web sites, or enhancements of existing ones.
I am independent of all web and software developers.

My Service

For those clients I can do any or all of the following elements:

* Requirements Gathering – helping them to figure out what they want. Or should want.
* Functional Specification – capturing in writing those requirements
* Web developer Selection – tendering (either full or restricted) and selection.

My Clients

I have a wide and varied public sector client list ranging from Bord Gais Networks (ongoing through to Q1 2012) through to the Heritage Council (a new site) and the Crafts Council of Ireland (a CMS for internet project). I also consulted into the 2009 Enterprise Ireland website scoping and requirements gathering project.

Feedback from the Bord Gais Networks project is given below and there is a full casestudy pdf here for download.

In the private sector I work with 4 to 6 businesses each year in this area.

Best Practice Workshop

Apart from the work I do with clients (ranging from large & small businesses to organisations like Bord Gais Networks) I also present workshops on this topic with the Irish Internet Association. An extract from that workshop is shown below and a full copy of the presentation is available upon request.

The next workshop is coming up on the 18th April 2012 – click here for more information and to book.
